The Silent Wind of the Vivid Dusk by Drerika The Silent Wind of the Vivid Dusk by Drerika
The sun is making the last sighs of the light over the horizon.
Quietness and coolness are slowly filling the atmosphere and start to tingle in the ears.
Just the restless sea is trying to reach the sandy shore to survive the upcomming darkness.
Both butterfly-shaped déjà-vu and nostalgia flutters and wanders around together with the depressive endlessly travelling wind...

Finally got time to make some art...

I might say that this is a personal art and a contest entry for RaideDeviant's contest
Got inspired by this artwork of theirs as I really like such shadow and light types :3
/this is more or less like a depressive piece with a bit of wandering thoughts and peace, capturing my dragoness character Timėja sitting in the beach and watching over the butterflies and the glooming light.

My new desktop, yay x3

Your use of color is beautiful. There's a very heavenly, otherworldly quality to the background.

I watch you for these few years and you got a wonderful level up. When I start watching you, you worked with traditional art only and now you're great at traditional and digital media both. Your anatomy and detaling skills became so good:aww:. I feel so ashamed I didn't draw that commission good enough... But no matter, it was three years ago, all things changed and this is no time for memories. You did amazing work with her hands and whole pose, looks so natural:aww:. I like details and lighting. And the composition is great. I see you used the golden spiral composition:aww:. Great work:clap:

There are always things where an artist can practise the skills ;D. And yet I wouldn't say that my digital art is as good as traditional (no matter how hard I try to put the same amount of love, it still comes out less emotional and detailed as my traditional art)
Well I must say that you practised your anatomy as well!
Hands are the most complicated part for most of the artists, thus I used my own hands for pose references XD
To be honest, the composition was just made up accidentally, I never refer to any kind of best arrangement methods and just draw what looks best in my own opinion xD Though I am glad that this composition came out naturally then XD
Thank you for your kind words <3

Maybe, but I think it's close to be that good, just a bit different in practise time.
Perfect idea, use own hands too:thumbsup:.
It's very natural. Like how the viewer's eye moves from the left upper corner along the spiral to the background, you see all important parts of drawing at once:-).
No problems:hug:

I really love how this one turned out ^^ So dreamy and much love for the details ^^ It totally looks like as if her thoughts flew far away to a distant shore along with the butterflies :)
